I built this company on a desire to provide people with form and function in their everyday lives, and as an expression of my love for the art and history of furniture.

My life experiences have given me a unique perspective on home design. I started my career in Chicago as a stock and commodities broker at the Chicago Board of Trade. Life led me abroad for three years where I traveled to over 30 countries. In some countries I ate dinner on dirt floors, where others I found myself in palatial structures. This spurred my fascination for the heartbeat of a home and its beauty. I immersed myself in furniture import and textile design. Through life’s private moments with family and animals, I learned the importance of a home’s functional durability. My room designs focus on providing form and function to represent your family’s story and to create the ideal environment for future.

I started my career as an attorney in East Texas, where I prosecuted nursing homes for elder abuse and neglect. Having been raised on a small farm, by my grandparents, the job resonated with my need to give back to the generation that had been such an important part of my life. Several years later, I became an FBI Special Agent, where I proudly served my country and community for over 21 years. My love for real estate and design, led me to obtain my real estate license, which I have used to purchase numerous properties which I have

remodeled ,and eventually sold, as forever homes, to deserving families.

I have always believed that design is less about the items that make up a room, and more about the feeling you get when you walk into the room. I believe the key to a successful design, (and life), is to surround yourself with things (and people) that bring you joy.
